• I highly recommend the Ameriwood Home Parsons Fireplace TV Stand, it is a great value. At first I was skeptical about the quality. The tv stand itself could be of higher quality, thus the four star rating. The stand went together easy and did not take all that long, but I had two cam bolts break. Just make sure to glue both ends of all the dowels. Now for the fireplace, the flame does not appear to be that realistic. But I am in love with the heat it produces. I also like that it is wider than alot of the other stands that are on the market right now. It inspired me to buy a fancy one, but the fancy one malfunctions, so I fall even more in love with this one. And as you can see by one of the pictures, my dogs are fond of it as well. I definitely recommend this tv stand/fireplace to others, it is awesome!
• The instructions were clear, all the parts were easily marked. What I liked best was that all the small parts, the hardware, were numbered and all the big wooden pieces were lettered. The instructions were laden with pictures as well; showing the numbers and letters with the corresponding steps needed to complete assembly. I had the unit ready for action before my wife could gather the knickknacks that she was going to put on it. It is solid and provides a sturdy stand for our 50″ TV. The fireplace looks great and works great. It’s not going to heat the house, but it gets the bedroom nice and toasty. Also, the visual effect of the fireplace, even without the heater on, provides a romantic luster to the room.
• The product only took me about 30 minutes to assemble. The instructions are very simple to understand and all the hardware is labeled 1, 2, 3 etc. The wood was alot heavier than I expected which was a good thing. It was very well organized in styrofoam however, the front came with a crack in it, but I assembled it anyway. I absolutely love the fireplace insert. It’s nice that you can choose your flame size set the best temp, and put it on a timer. The only downside I can see is the plug issue. My tv has 4 plugs in all with the wifi and cable etc. So we have a 6 plug plugged into the outlet already so I could not overload it by plugging in a heater. I was lucky enough to have another plug nearby so the heater can run off it’s own. Other than that it’s a cozy little fireplace tv stand.
• Extremely well made stand. Took a little bit to assemble but we’ll worth the effort. Looks great in my front room. The fireplace portion really sets a relaxing mood in the evening.
