• I’m a single mom in a one bedroom apartment, theres no ac at all and it has been 100 during the day and not cooling off until the early mornings. I can run this with the AC on high during the day and then switch it to high fan at night and my whole apartment stays cool. The living room where I have it stays cool and the rest of the apartment is comfortable enough. Big difference from nothing at all. I will probably get a second if I am here next year for the bedroom. So glad I bought this, wish I had just done it sooner.

• I liked it from the moment i saw it, the box end had been ripped open and the unit was marked down to $58.00 The Arctic King 5000 btu Mechanical AC was a breeze to install it took me longer to remove the screen from my window than it took to install this unit, I would say total instal time was 10 minutes, after I got the screen off (15 minutes) Before this unit i was using a very bulky portable AC a Whirlpool , 12000 btu this unit i think cools better and will be using less electricity each month, I am sure it will decress my bill by a good $80 per month. The unit is packaged well because despite the whole end of the box being missing, the internal packing held all items in place that was needed to install, my only hint is to make sure you tilt the unit 5/8 of an inch as recommended. Great buy and Great product.
• Our 3 year old Frigidaire works better on low than this one did on high. Thankfully the local Walmart took it back with no problems.
