• I bought this desk with the Steele organizer and I’m very happy with the purchase. The desk provides enough room for essential items ( laptop, printer, lamp etc) plus enough storage areas for files ( has 4 drawers total). It came with instructions that are easy to follow ( it’s a 2 person assembly, 2 hours for me and my husband to complete). The product looks sturdy, has simple, clean lines.
• I ordered this desk and it came in sooner than promised, which was great. I took out all the pieces and they were fine, until I got to the last piece. The top of the desk had a crack all the way across and was slightly bent. I contacted Walmart and they arranged to pick up the damaged desk and send a replacement. They were very helpful and I received the second desk sooner than promised as well. My complaint is not with Walmart at all. When I unpacked the second desk, it also had a crack in the top piece, in exactly the same place as the previous desk. However this one was only visible from the bottom, the front & back and not the top. It was also not bent so I decided to try and assemble it. It took me several hours to assemble by myself, but the instructions were very clear and all the pieces were labeled. It looks nice now that it is put together and the crack is only slightly visible in the front. It is a very sturdy desk and works well for my needs. I would just recommend to anyone who purchases it to inspect the top piece very closely as it appears to have a vulnerable spot that is prone to cracking.
