These were cheap boots, so I wasn’t expecting very much. They had decent reviews on a few websites and so I decided to buy them. First, they ship folded in half. The material of the boot is pretty thin, so having a 16″ shaft folded in half for god knows how long really damaged the boot. The box it came in was a Brinley Co. Box, so I’m not sure how much Walmart has to do with that. There was a serious fold line right in the middle of the shaft, which was incredibly disappointing. The foot of the boot fit fantastically! I ordered size 10, an the foot bed was very comfortable and accurate. However, the shaft was GIANT! 15″ circumference my fanny! They were comically wide, yes, comically. They looked like some kind of pirate boot when they were on, even with jeans. For reference, I am 5’9″ and my calves are 13″ at the widest part. These boots were made for a 6′ man who doesn’t skip leg day. It’s too bad that they shipped so stupidly and that they were giant, because the boots would’ve been really adorable if they’d fit and hadn’t been mutilated en route to me. I bet they’d be just fine for a stylish lumberjack.
