• I purchased this lantern after having considering other lanterns that were being sold. It has a very nice finish to it. It was a very nice looking lantern. I needed one that emmited 1000 lumens and had a knob so that I could adjust the light. There was an Ozark a trail lantern that had the same features but only emitted 500 lumens. It was 10.00 less so I thought I’d pay a little more to get 500 more lumens. I am satisfied with this purchase. It emits a soft white light which I liked a lot more than the sharp yellowish light that my Might d light emitted. This lantern has been very durable. I have had no issue with it. The knob did get stuck at one point but a quick hard turn resolved that issue. It does take 4 D batteries which could be expensive but overall, I am very satisfied with it. • Was looking for a battery operated bright 1000 Lumen lantern and this is as described.
• We’ve enjoyed the lantern outside of our original reason for the purchase. The light is adequate and the design seems to fit a lot of situations. Looking forward to it’s continued use.
• I purchased this light for emergency use. I have not used it for emergency situations yet, I tested it, it is a vary good lantern. It puts out a lo’t of light.
• This electric lantern puts out a lot of light (1000 lumens) for a battery-powered lantern, making it an excellent backup light during a home power outage. The spotlight feature is also impressive. I thought it would just provide the light of a small flashlight but it actually lights up a large area. The button for the spotlight is on the handle so it’s easy to switch from the lantern to the spotlight.
• Bright, illuminates a room well. Perfect for when our electricity goes out. I recommend it especially because it has light on both sides which illuminates an area well. It uses only 4 batteries.
• This item worked well at first, but after a few camping trips, I started to notice a connection problem with the battery contacts. Now it is very difficult to get the latern to work at all without fiddling around with the battery compartment door. The battery door is very poor and flimsy, so I think there is a design flaw. Or maybe I just got a lemon? I am very careful with my camping equipment and treat it well. Worst part is that I emailed Bushnell to let them know of the problem and I received the following response. Doesn’t seem Bushnell is even willing to stand behind a product with their name on it. “I am happy to help you with this Bushnell did not manufactur this particular flashlight. Insight2Design is the manufacturer. They purchased the rights to use our name on their product. Please call them at : 1-888-774-5840 Thanks Drew”
