• I’ve learned all these threaded dumbbells are the same and there is no need to pay $20/dumbbell when the ones for $6 are the same. Great deal, and I’m enjoying the use very much.
• I bought 4 of these on sale ($6.00 ea), expecting to get what I paid for. These bars are excellent and a bargain at any price.
• These chrome dumbbell bars are much better than the original bars that came with my 40 lb. weight set. The original bars emit an odor from them that gets on my hands and must be washed off after every use. The Chrome dumbbell bars do not “out gas” these odors and I believe are much safer to work out with. Anyway, a big thumbs-up for the chromes!
• Great quality make you feel secure. They are made of solid steel construction that I will eventually pass on to my son or grandson.
• These bleats are used in the company’s gym. They’re better than the bars that have rubber grips and washers. The guys over tightened the last pair and just tore through the rubber washer. These are metal grips and working out better!
• I had 2 pairs already but needed the 3rd without the weight plates. These are great, strong, sturdy bars that do the trick perfectly well. they offer amazing value for the price.
• Overall, I am happy with this item. The 2 that I purchased arrived in good shape. There so far has been no chipping or flaking of the finish, which was a common complaint from other buyers. The only minor nitpick I have with them is that the grip is very slick, so one has to be careful when using them with heavy weights.
• I ordered two Dumbbells, they arrived missing a collar! Can’t use them. Also, the rubber gaskets used to secure the plates were very flimsy. They’re likely to stretch out and not last too long. I’ll return these to the store and likely buy a better quality item!
