Couldn’t afford a “real” hot tub. This one had the best reviews and good price. Arrived two days early. Directions a bit difficult to understand but tub went together fairly easily. Water heated from low 50’s to over 100 in one day. Bubbles much stronger than I had expected. So far, really enjoying the tub.
My fiancé has wanted a hot tub for a long time and had even mentioned a “blow up” hot tub. I was not in favor, because I thought it was trashy and wouldn’t keep us warm in Indiana winters. How wrong I was!! When I saw this on sale before Christmas, I decided to give it a go & I’m so glad I did! The hot tub was easy to set up and only took about two days to get up to the max temp. – 104 degrees. It has been on our back porch since Christmas and we get in it almost every night. As a bonus, the black hot tub with the black cover actually look pretty sleek. The **one** thing that is a tiny bit of a downfall is that the jets won’t run while the heat does, but I mean for this price, who cares! I’m not sure how many years this thing will last but at $350, if it works for a year, I’ll be thrilled. So glad I gave in, stopped being a snob & bought this!
I really enjoy the hot tub. It stays hot all day/everyday, so I can use it at my disposal. There are only two cons for me… 1. It took forever to heat up. 20 hrs to go from 78 to 100 (I keep it on 104). 2. The is an air bubble that forms in the bottom of the unit. Not sure why or how to get rid of it. It’s just more annoying than anything. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!
We moved from a home with an in-ground hot tub/spa a couple of years ago and I could tell my husband really missed it. Unfortunately, our new home sits on the side of a hill and there isn’t a good place to install a big tub here. I ordered this for his birthday and it arrived VERY quickly and in great shape. I was able to set it up without help, fill it, and get it heated and running in about an hour. He’s been enjoying sitting in the water and watching the sun set for a couple of weeks now and was impressed by how nice it was. His impression of portable tubs he’s seen in the past was that they were tacky and cheap. It’s just been fun and for the price, it’s been worth it.
This tub was easy to set up and worked wonderfully for the first 4-5 weeks. Then the bottom seam gave out and started to loose air and the hoses from the pump started to leak. You cannot return this item to Walmart. All returns/warranties are handled by http://www.bestwaycorp.us. I received this unit as a gift. I had sent http://www.bestwaycorp.us a picture of the damaged seam, a picture of the serial number and date stamp showing it was a newer and a shipping statement from VM Innovations stating when it was shipped, which was just a month before I actually set it up. The customer service people at http://www.bestwaycorp.us REFUSED to stand behind their product. They told me that the statement only showed when it was shipped, not bought. It should have lasted longer than a month. Very disappointed.
