- Bought this for my mom’s condo. Not a large living room so size and shape were perfect. Solid wood and well made. Only thing is to be careful with the seam in the wood on the table top; it split a bit in transportation. We built it at our home and then brought it to her place built. Wouldn’t recommend doing that. I think that’s what caused the separation in the wood seam.

- I was a little skeptical about this table because I thought it might be too small for a big living room space. However I put it ober a big rug (also bought at walmart) and it looks fab. Great make, looks expensive when it was really affordable and I’ve had tons of compliments on it. The little drawer is perfect for storing small things that don’t really have a place around the house (like that odd key your not sure what it opens but tou want to keep it anyway just in case) excellent table for the price
- I was looking for a small, round, inexpensive coffee table that would go with our existing tables. From the photo, the finish looked as close as I was going to find. Enlarging for a closeup of the wood grain looked like the close grain I was looking for. The shelf and drawer were a plus. The knob for the drawer is acceptable; was looking for brushed nickel / simple. I was aware it needed assembly, but having assembled several pieces of furniture ordered on-line before, that did not bother me. It does take TWO people to assemble. It arrived in a timely fashion; packing was fine. Was a bit disappointed in the finish on the shelf and top. Probably as a result of lesser quality wood used. Looked like it may have been scuffed during packing. Hayneedle says the furniture company is in Washington which lead me to believe it would be manufactured in Washington. NO…it’s from Taiwan. Ours is assembled and have polished with lemon oil to even out some of the variables in the finish. Once that dries good, and I finish setting things on the table, the minor irregularities shouldn’t really be noticeable. You get what you pay for; but can say am satisfied with hayneedle. This is the first purchase from hayneedle for me so was a bit apprehensive not knowing what to expect.
- everything was included and was easy to assemble. the instructions said to have a helping hand to assemble but I was able to assemble by myself in about 45 minutes. no marks or scratches. there was a pressure mark on the top from the packaging but it buffed out easily with wood polish.
- This is a solid wood table, with a bottom shelf and a drawer – very useful. The finish is a little rough and dull in spots. Two quality problems were experienced: First, for part of their span, two of the top boards don’t exactly line up level in a vertical direction leaving a slight “step” in the top, especially noticeable in an oblique light. More sanding before finish could have solved this problem. Secondly, one of the two sets of leg holes that enable the attachment of the legs to the top of the table were drilled in the wrong location on all four legs – a potential show stopper. I almost packed up the table at this point to return to Wal-Mart. Fortunately, these mis – located holes are concealed between the legs and the table top when assembled, so the mistake could not be seen. Also fortunate – the remaining set of holes was in the correct position, enabling me to locate and drill out a second set of holes in the proper position on each leg – very carefully to get the proper depth. The finish defect is offset by the price of the table – very competitive with other solid wood tables of higher quality and higher joinery. However, the misalignment of the leg holes is a serious quality issue and requires some luck and ability to fix, therefore, this table gets an overall “one star” rating. I am using this table, and enjoying it, but I would not purchase it again, and I suggest that the Wal-Mart buyer involved have a chat with his or her supplier.
