- This set is simple, yet sleek. I love Corelle dishes, they are tough and wear well. I have a few from a 40 year old set that still look new. I had decided to go with Stoneware 25 years ago and although they held out pretty well, a few did break and they got scratched up from using utensils and they are really heavy. The Corelle are light and easy to use for kids and elderly plus, they are a space saver in the cabinets. We decided to go with the Corelle square pattern and we love them!! Additionally, they arrived quickly and well packed (which was nice for the porcelain coffee cups as wouldn’t be much concern for the practically unbreakable Corelle). We highly recommend!
- This is a gift and has not yet been opened. The box appears undo aged, although dirty on the outside. Clever method to retrieve packages sent to the store for pickup, and that worked.
- Three days after receiving these plates I had a dinner plate, side plate, and bowl fall from the kitchen counter. On impact they exploded into a million pieces. I thought Corelle dinnerware was unbreakable however I see now it is “break resistant”. Disappointing.
