- This was a great purchase for me. The size is perfect and it sits better than any other futon/sofa combo I tried. The picture is accurate for the color too.
- This futon is a very nice looking piece of furniture that fits well in the space I have available in my home office/guest room, but I was expecting it to be a bit more comfortable to sleep on, being that it’s called ‘memory foam’. My mother came to stay Christmas eve and I was worried her back would be bothering her after spending the night on this, because the center of it was hard and you could feel the seams and the spot where it folds when lying on it, even after placing a mattress pad and folded comforter down beneath a fitted sheet. It’s quite firm and there’s not much cushion at all to it. She said it was fine to sleep on as long as she positioned her body to the side of the center seam, which doesn’t really seem practical since it’s not that wide of a space to begin with. It is comfortable to sit on when in it’s upright position as a sofa, but not for sleeping. Still, for the price it’s not a bad purchase and I will be using it primarily as a small sofa more so than a place for guests to sleep, so I will be keeping it.
