- Fit good. Better than the carhartts I have (5-6 pair). These hold up way more better than the carhartt’s ever did. FYI, I work as a ditch diggin, hammer drill using, nail gun banging construction worker. I put my jeans through heII, & these are more better. They do fit a tab bit tight in the sack area, but not too much to be concerned about.

- We have been working in them since they arrived. They fit like one would hope that they would. The stride is where it belongs. You don’t have to pull up stride to climb up on equipment. Spoils us we can just load up without the hassle. One thing that we would build different is the pockets. The pockets are ok, but the opening to front pockets are for small hands. They just do not fit the type of hands that work hard.
- These have to be some of the most comfortable and durable pants I’ve ever bought. I’ve have the jeans version and I am more than pleased with these.
- Black pants run a little smaller. Other pants are true to size. Enjoy the comfort. Price was good.
- Very well made pants, and comfortable. The tool pocket needs to be made just a little wider to fit phones and such. Like the pocket on the Dickies work shorts.
- I can put any pair of pants to the test. Rarely does a pair make the grade. When I received these pants, I thought they were really too dense and thick to be comfortable, they were obviously rugged. After one wash, these pants are the only pants I wear for work and pleasure. The fit is perfect, the body of the fabric loosened up enough that they are very comfortable and roomy enough for work and play, and I do both, hard. Best pants on the market. Just wish they came in more colors (i.e. blue?)
- I have other Dickies carpenter jeans, unlined, in the same size that are five stars, but these pants are _uncomfortably_ too tight in all dimensions. The shorter rise alone makes them basically unwearable, but the uncomfortable fit runs through the leg, and is less noticeable but still annoying in the waist. Something unwearable shouldn’t just be put on sale.
