- I bought this for our 2 year old little girl. It is VERY sturdy do not get me wrong however the fabric is pretty thin. Does not look as nice up close. It looks like it is velvet in the pics to me but it is a cheaper cotton/linen blend. Maybe I am picky but it looked SOOO cute in the pictures, I guess I expected more than we got. It will last and be a nice bed until our toddler is a tad older. I would not expect the fabric to last moves etc. Some of the stitching is not great either on the bed but its a cheap and sturdy bed. If you are buying this for a “hold me over bed” or a toddler I say go for it. The cushy headboard is nice so no one bonks their heads on the wall or a hard headboard. I would not buy this if I had seen this set up but we will keep it until she is older and get a nicer bed.
