Mine arrived with a few dents from shipping, I chose the ship to store option. Keep in mind the space inside is limited though, because the lid sinks in. I love this feature because you can stack them securely. I would suggest buying a mixture of the 15 and 27 gallon. These are a cheaper alternative to the 17 gallon HDX tubs sold at Home Depot. If budget is not an issue, I would suggest splurging for the 17 gallon HDX tubs which are $8.97 each right now. Some one posted that their kid could stand on these, that is not true! I have a 6 year old and had him try to stand on them, and it dented really bad almost breaking through and he is very small.
We were looking for a reasonably priced storage tub for our library friends group. This was perfect for storing our books between sales. It is very sturdy and stacks well. The price online and quick turnaround was great.
Set of six shipped in one box. The outer one was broken when the box arrived. These were described as polypropylene. The lid might be, but I could not find a recycle symbol anywhere on the tub.
We have used these totes in the past and they are great.. lids fit well, they are easy to stack and hold plenty of stuff..
I purchased these primarily to replace some previous storage totes that have not lasted over time. These seem really sturdy and I hope to be able to stack them on top of each other without the bottom tote collapsing and getting crushed from the weight. Walmart had the best price I could find for these and I checked four other stores.
One of the six was damaged on arrival because os poor packaging, I would have been better off just going to the store!
