• So I usually don’t do reviews but other pops reviews have helped me make better buying decisions & I had to share mine as well… So I bought this equate stuff 2 wks ago. I bought my fiancé the men’s one & I got the womens. I lost my edges due to yrs of weave & chemical damage. I did the BIG CHOP 2 yrs ago and now I am natural kinky curly 4c type of hair. My fiancé is balding in the front of his head & the middle. We have tried everything from: MegaTek horse shampoo Bosley hair stuff Nioxin hair stuff Massaging scalp with castor oil Etc This list goes on…so i decided that we try this one last thing before giving up So I also bought us both a derma roller for our scalp We started this equate treatment two wks ago and our hair is already growing in!!! What we did it derma roll our scalp every day or every other day Then apply the equate on our scalp twice a day like the box says Then let it dry Apply black castor oil to the scalp and massage it in Use a leave in conditioner Then wrap our heads at night with silk scarf Try this maybe it will help someone else cause it’s working and helping me !!! Buy this stuff it’s so worth it & not too pricey compared to other brands! Thank me later lol
• I can say that I’ve proven that this works for me, but certainly cannot say that it will work for everyone. Some small scalp dryness and itching is possible – I’ve had that happen – but I’ve proven that it works for me. This used to come with a metered spray bottle and that applies it much better than the dropper, so I kept that and still use these to refill it. I think this is about the lowest cost version available and I doubt the name brand versions are much (if at all) better.
• Why pay for brand name monoxidil when this is the same thing at a fraction of the price?
• This has helped tremendously with my “male pattern baldness.” The bald spots began filling in within weeks. The thing is though, if you stop using it, the hair growth stops too so be prepared to use it indefinitely.
• For some reason, my edges have been under seige. I’ve never had problems with them before. They have always been kinda thin but I ‘HAD’ them!!!! I have been using the product for about 5 months now. At month 3, I was completely ready to give up on this product. The package said it may take as long as 4 months to START noticing any kind of growth. At that point, I figured ‘What do I have to lose?’ So I gave it one more month. And sure enough, I started seeing my fuzz!!!!! So, of course I was excited. By the middle of month 4, it was thickening up and growing. I will say that at month 3, I started using Black Jamaican Castor Oil as well on my edges. I’d use 2 sprays of this topical…massage…then massage BJCO immediately after. Now I’m not sure if it was the solution that helped, the BJCO that brought me there, or both. All I know is, even if I have to use this duo for the rest of my life, I will!!! I am VERY happy with my results. I will continue to use both nightly for continued results. PS…for those of you who are discouraged because you’re not seeing any progress, give it time. It took me FOUR MONTHS to BEGIN noticing any sign this product is working.
• I have been using this product for years. No need to buy the more expensive brand because this brand is just as efffective and it saves money. A valuable tool in fighting hair loss. I
• I used it for 6 months and nothing. I lost more hair. I followed directions and it said I would lose some hair in the beginning and the itchiness, redness, and serious flaking would subside but it never did. No growth what so ever. I have one more box that I’ll probably throw away.
