    • For the money, this unit did great. Cooked a brisket over 15 hours and it turned out great. I think the water helped keep it moist. I used regular briquettes and hardwood charcoal and no issues
    • Easy to assemble. Quality overall much better than expected for the price!
    • My wife, Genie, had been wanting us to get a smoker for years, citing how much she enjoyed the flavor of the meat her parents use to prepare. Finally got this one and have been quite pleased with how easy it has been to learn how to use it and the flavor it helps give the meat. Only suggestion I might give the manufacturer would be giving better use instructions with the product. But I would recommend this product to everyone.
    • I love this grill. I just fill the charcoal , wood chips and water bowl, let it cook for 45 minutes and the chicken is smoked, juicy and delicious. Great Price Too
    • Great price, fast shipping. Assembly is a breeze. I bought to see if I liked smoking and to learn on it. Works great and easy. Loved the smoked wings and I can’t wait to try different meats and wood chips. Probably buy bigger one next summer. Yum.
    • I’m a newbie to smoking meats and this is a good smoker to start with. My first try went well but I have since watched some YouTube videos about modifying this smoker to make it as great as some of the ore expensive ones. I plan to try some of the modifications to make smoking even better and possibly easier.
    • Purchased this as my intro to the world of smoking. Coworker has a similar small smoker and told me of his experience so I figured for $35 I’d pick up this thing and give it a shot. Used Kingsford Matchlight charcoal, lit charcoal and let burn down @10 mins until I had hot gray coals. Added soaked wood chips in a metal chip container I purchased separately. Then placed water bowl, added water, center rack and upper rack. Installed meat product for smoking and this thing WILL NOT hold temp. Temp goes up to 275-300 if you add fresh coals and within 10 mins has dropped back down to 200 and sinking. Proper smoke temp should be 225-250. I’ve used this thing about 8 times and have tinkered with the top vent and even using the door to try and add air to increase heat. Nothing I do will maintain heat, everything closed, everything open, half closed half open. I’m non stop having to add charcoal to peak the temp only to watch it fall off within 10 mins. The difference I found between this and my coworkers is his cheap smoker is enclosed on the bottom and the charcoal bowl sits above the enclosed bottom. This unit had the charcoal bowl resting on the legs with a 1″ gap all the way around the charcoal bowl with open air beneath it. Its exhausting to constantly have to add coals to peak the temp and seems unnecessary. Anyways, that’s my experience. Good luck
