- Very rugged and capable slow juicer gets the most out of pulp in this price range. I made a big batch and fed some Strawberries in last and they seemed to clog the strainer and back up the feed chute. I’m sure I will figure out a method to avoid this next time by putting fruits and veggies in the right order or amounts. The great thing is how easy it cleans using the provided brush. The way it disassembles make every surface accessible for quick cleaning. Like all juicers, I wish the feed chute was a little bigger, but it is not a hassle to cut up large items first. Carrots, Cucumbers, Kale, and Celery all go in without pre cutting. It has a reverse motor switch if anything should jam. Good name brand, easy clean, rugged construction; I think this will last a long time.
- Excellent shipping time!! Order was processed quickly & shipped quickly. Received my unit ahead of schedule! This thing really does suck the last drop of juice out of veggies & fruits. Fairly easy to clean & have ready to go again quickly. I would advise starting with recipes that are available BEFORE experimenting… I managed to make some NASTY stuff I could barely drink!! Walk before you run!
- This juicer does a pretty good job, but leaves some pulp in the juice. For a true juice fast, the juice should have no pulp. It juices lemons with the peel on very well, which surprised me. It is pretty easy to assemble, disassemble, and clean. It is pretty quiet as well. All in all, I consider it a good purchase. So far, so good.
- This juicer is a very sleek-looking, strong and quiet machine, with a reasonably small footprint, so it can stay on the counter without cluttering it up. It is also my first juicer. It grinds through hard vegetables like beets and carrots with ease, and extracts the maximum amount of juice possible. The pulp that comes out is barely moist to the touch. It also does a great job on leafy greens. Since I wanted to start incorporating more raw foods into my diet, I was as interested in the pulp as in the juice, because I had seen recipes for ‘raw’ crackers made in a dehydrator. The pulp from this machine is ideal for that! It does, however have some limitations. I was also interested in making nut milks with it, but it grinds the nuts too slowly for the milk to be extracted into the added water. And it’s not great with softer, juicier fruits. It mashes the fruit well, but the pulp is so fine that it clogs up the strainer screens. Cleanup is pretty easy, as the whole front assembly can be removed as one piece, and then taken apart at the sink. All of those parts can go into the dishwasher after a quick rinse. The unit comes with a brush (looks like a big toothbrush) to help with cleaning the screens. Overall, I give this a high rating for power and ease of use. If you are into doing green juices, this is the machine for you! - Overall, I highly recommend this juicer for it’s value. Slow juicers are known for producing more juice and less waste and this juicer does the trick. The pulp is fairly dry and not nearly as wet as fast juicers that have a lot of waste. It also produces quality juice that will stay fresh for about 48 hours. It’s pretty quiet while running although it does have surprising beeping noises when you turn it on or off. The reverse function works well. Inside it does not have has many blades holes as I’ve seen on more expensive slow juicers and they are slightly larger. The masticator is great and the way it expels pulp is convenient as well as the two containers for catching juice and pulp. You won’t be disappointed with this choice if it fits your budget.
- Worked well with apples and oranges ,but plastic came off when I tried to juice carrots . Carrots were cut to small pieces before feeding ,luckily we noticed the plastic before consuming the juice. Returned only after using it twice.
