• Awesome little dollhouse. I love the interchangeable backgrounds and that it is made of real wood.
• I gave this dollhouse as a gift for a five year old… expected this to be small upon assembly but its about 3 ft tall !!!! She is in love with it… wooden dollhouse is sturdy… but i guess rooms dont stick together… they can be placed either ways anywhere… thats y d name interchangeable!
• Great value for the money! Heavy duty and sturdy not cardboard or anything cheap. Gave as a gift to 4 year old girl and she loved it! Plays with her barbies in it.
• This is a cute set of roomboxes that kids can stack in different ways and decorate in different ways. The box size is about 8 by 8 by 8 inches, and there is one longer box that is about 12 inches long with two rooms, and one box has slanted roof, and another one is a little garden or a balcony. There is a lot at the top back of each of the boxes where kids can insert a “wallpaper” – piece of cardboard with home or store printed design on them. The awnings are also made of this cardboard and they are double sided, too. The awnings are easy to bend or to knock out of place during play and I am sure they will be lost quickly. ON the other hand, we could probably make new ones from some cardstock to make the dollhouse even more fun and personal. The same goes for the back panels that are easy to exchange and you can put your own cardstock with kid’s pictures or something like that for added fun. Without the inserts, the rooms are painted in plain pastel colors inside, so there is tons of potential for decorating and imagination. On the outside, there are painted flowers and the cutest lanterns painted hanging off the walls. There is some wooden furniture included. It seems to be sturdy and well made. The bed is about 4 inches long on the inside. The set came well packaged. it was easy to assemble, I only needed a philips and flathead screwdrivers. The pieces are held by cam lock fasteners, but the part that goes in the board and holds the big screw is made of plastic, and it warps badly when you screw it in place, and I am pretty sure it is one time use. They included couple extra pieces. There are no covers for the holes, which might be a good thing since they might come off and be a chocking hazard, but they do not look especially attractive. Each of the roomboxes is assembled separately (and the parts for each are packed separately, so there is no time wasted on finding pieces), and it is ready for play while you are working on the next one. I did not expect much from a fifteen dollar dollhouse, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a lot of play potential in the set, and my kid likes it a lot so far.
