- I bought this a month ago one of the best purchases I have made in a long time! My family has used it several times now and although it states 50 hours of charge I get about 20. But that is still outstanding. I have since purcased another as a gift!
- I really like the radio feature! Have by our pool but under the patio. Stays charged for a few days then we just plug it and charge. It fully charges fast. Plenty loud enough for the pool, and has a good full sound. Perfect for what we need it for. The only improvement I would make is I wish it were water resistant. Thus, minus one star. Otherwise, this was a good purchase and we are thoroughly enjoying it!
- An amazing loud and clear speaker for such a low price. I tried two other bluetooth speakers and returned them because they weren’t loud enough. I think this is loud due to super strong (and heavier) lead acid battery (like in a computer UPS) instead of the wimpy (and lighter) batteries in most speakers, so it can really power the large speaker. ION web site even has a video showing how to replace the battery when the time comes. I charged it up and it easily connected to Bluetooth because it is automatically in pairing mode when you power on, so you don’t even need to press Bluetooth button. Remember to have volume low when you power up because the voice announcing power on and bluetooth paired will blow you away. Then I always immediately turn to max volume and use my phone to control volume, so I don’t understand the reviews that say this distorts at max volume. With my Samsung S7 phone at only 50% volume, this speaker is incredibly loud and very clear without any distortion. I use this at a very large and noisy sports bar over the sound of fans and TV to play my teams fight songs and I never have to turn my phone volume more than 50% to rock the place louder than the TV’s and noise. This speaker is for outdoors and noisy large rooms, not for high fidelity stereo in your living room. It is lightweight and very easy to carry with one hand so you can open doors with your other hand. The battery lasts for days and you can charge your phone from the speaker while laying your phone in the nice phone tray on the top of the speaker. I like having all the controls and displays at the top for easy reach and viewing. The LED battery power indicator is large and easy to read. The instruction manual is more detailed than the last two speakers I tried. My only complaint is I wish it had a storage compartment to carry the AC cord and microphone.
- Bought this a year ago. 2 months after buying, the bluetooth stopped working for my phone. 5-7 months later, the sound started to get patchy (picture extremely slow wifi sound). LITERALLY ONE YEAR LATER, not 15 seconds go by without the sound going in and out. I promise this is not an exaggeration. Pretty frustrated to spend another $125 for yet another speaker a year later (we perform annually).
