    • I received the Roomba 690 from my daughters for Christmas, it was a life changing gift. I used to sweep daily to try and keep my floor free from pet hair and cat litter. I run Florence every morning and she almost always has a full bin when I come home. I love that she goes under most of my furniture and beds. I feel like my house is so much cleaner than before. The only downside is that we have high pile carpets in our bedrooms and she can’t quit make the thresholds to get into those rooms most of the time. I don’t care I just help her in those rooms on the weekend when I am home, I don’t need my carpets done daily anyway. I personally don’t know how I lived without her and plan on always having a Roomba from now on if I can. Florence has given me the gift of time which for me is the best gift of all.
    • Find it stays in 2 rooms the majority of time
    • I love it! I have more time to do other things while it’s cleaning.
    • Schedule carefree, cleans immaculately, does n’t talk back, I love it…Love it…I’ve already recommended it to many friends and co-workers. Waiting for the future model I can converse with.
    • Roomba works very well, even on pet hair. I just put it in the area I want cleaned and start it when I leave the house. I have a large dog and it does amazingly well on the pet hair. It would be nice if it not as noisy. I can’t run it when I am home due to the noise, I wish it would run longer. Even in my small house it takes several uses to cover the whole area. The collection bin could be larger.
    • Nice to not have to drag out the upright. I do have to watch for hanging lamp cords. She once pulled a lamp over. She also closed the door to a closet and trapped herself inside. I now section off each area. The rubber flexible brush does a good job of dusting. She climbs easily over area rugs and her side brush picks up debris along the edges. She gets under the beds better than I ever could have. Sometimes she quits in hard to access places and does not always return to base for charging (maybe because our house is large?). While she is working, I can get so much more house cleaning done! Totally spoiled now!
    • I received the 690 as a gift from my kids. I was excited to use it. The first time I used it I noticed it ran into furniture relatively hard. It would my my heavy dining room chairs, on hardwood, about 1/4″. This made me concerned that it would mark the Furniture over time. It went into my carpeted family room. The firniture seemed to confuse it. After an hour and a half it stopped. It never retuned to its charging stand. Out of the five times I used it it found the charging stand once before it stopped with a low battery. On carpet the 690 picked up most debris but missed a lot of spots. On tile and hard wood floors it had trouble picking much up. It would blow the cat hair way as it moved. I watched it roll over small crumbs and a little dropped flour on type without disturbing the crumbs or flour. In the end I retuned the 690 and purchased a 980. The 980 is worth the extra money. The 690 just made noise.
