I would definitely recommend this fan. Last a long time with heavy use. It is the most quiet fan we have ever owned.
- I have owned several of these over the years. They really move a lot of air and last quite a few years.
- Purchased a Lasko Cyclone in the past and it is still running after 5+ years and just needed another one. After purchasing a few Lasko Wind Tunnels that stopped working after 1 year I had to go back and purchase a cyclone.
- Bought this fan to beat the heat and it works great. It’s light and easy to move around, but it has plenty power to move the air around the room. This is the second Lasko fan I’ve purchased and I plan on buying more.
- We had purchased this type of fan before and it worked very well. I’ve noticed this one isn’t as fast so it doesn’t push as much air though. Although since it is going to be getting very hot here in the next couple of days it will be used to it’s fullest potential. This Lasko fan is one of 6 we have, and purchased them because they were made in the U.S.A..
- It is a quite fan and its 3 speed is all you need to cool the room. I recommended it to my friends, after trialing other fans, this Lasko fan is really good 🙂
- i searched online for this particular fan because lowes no longer carries it and the price was aboaut 4$ cheaper at Walmart than home depot..this is the 3rd one of this brand (lasko) and this style (round flloor fan-cyclone)that i have had over the last few years and i really like it..it has 3 speeds and can be rotated upwards or down depending upon your needs..the only drawback is the grille does not come off, so if you need to dust the fan (which i recommend)you need a hand duster that will squeeze in between the small grille spaces, or a good suction attachment from a vacuum..all in all a very good product…
- This fan blows too much air at the low setting. It is noisy at all settings. May be good for a large room, but not for the bedroom. Flimsy plastic construction. The only upgrade the Cyclone has on the Wind Machine is that the controls are on top. If you can find a Wind Machine, get it.
