Directions:

Instructions: Instructions vary by shade. For complete instructions, please refer to package insert located inside haircolor box. Store between 50 F and 80 F. STEP 1: APPLY EXCELLENCE PRE-COLOR SERUM. Before coloring: Protect fragile ends and help prepare hair to accept color evenly.• To open tube, snap rectangular tip so that it breaks off.• Massage product into dry ends before coloring. Avoid the root area. • Wait for 2 minutes. • Do not rinse. STEP 2: MIX COLOR • Put on colorist gloves and break off the tip of the Creme Developer (1) bottle cap before beginning. Remove cap from bottle.

• Pierce the opening of the Permanent Color Creme (2) tube completely with the point provided in the top of the cap. Do not point either end of the tube towards the face while opening or using. Squeeze entire contents of Permanent Color Creme (2) into the Creme Developer (1) bottle and recap the bottle. • Place your finger over open tip, point away from your face and shake thoroughly until mixture is totally blended. CAUTION: Do not squeeze or put pressure on Permanent Color Creme tube until you have pierced the tube opening completely. Use care in working with tube contents. Contact between contents and eyes may cause blindness. NOTE: Never leave the tip unopened after mixing – the container may burst. Use immediately and do not save any unused mixture. STEP 3: APPLY COLOR, TIME AND RINSE. OPTION A: DO A ROOT TOUCH-UP APPLICATION IF: • You color every 4 to 6 weeks with the same shade. Important: To achieve the most even color results, from root to tip, and to avoid darkening of ends, follow instructions below. 1. TOUCH-UP ROOT AREA FIRST • Make 1/4″” partings throughout your dry, unwashed hair with regular applicator tip. Apply color onto new growth root area only until completely saturated. Optional: If you choose to use full coverage comb for easier application, remove applicator tip and attach comb onto the bottle. • Leave color on new growth root area for 20 minutes.

Tip: for resistant grays, leave mixture on hair an additional 10 minutes. 2. APPLY TO REST OF THE HAIR • Apply remaining product to the rest of the hair. Make sure all the hair is completely saturated. • Pile hair loosely on top of your head. • Let develop for an additional 10 minutes.

Total development time is 30-40 minutes.

3. RINSE-OUT • When time is up, add a small amount of warm water to the hair and lather color mixture through the hair. Rinse until water runs clear. 4. CONDITION & RECONDITION • Apply enough Conditioning treatment (3) to thoroughly saturate hair. Massage through hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse out with warm water. • Use the Conditioning treatment once a week after shampooing to protect your hair until the next coloring. OPTION B- DO A FULL HEAD. APPLICATION IF: • You have never colored your hair. • You want to change your current hair color. • You have not colored in three months or longer. 1. APPLY ALL OVER • Attach regular applicator tip onto the Creme Developer (1) bottle. • Optional: full coverage comb can be used for easier application.

• Make 1/4″” partings, apply product onto dry, unwashed hair until hair is completely saturated and color mixture is evenly distributed. • Pile hair loosely on top of your head. 2. TIME • Leave on for 30 minutes. Tip: for resistant grays, leave mixture on hair an additional 10 minutes.

3. RINSE-OUT • When time is up, add a small amount of warm water to the hair and lather color mixture through the hair. Rinse until water runs clear. 4. • I love this product. I usually go to a salon for color but decided to try L’Oréal. Saw some good reviews. So glad I did. My hair is naturally dark brown with a small amount of gray. It had been over high lighted but for the past 6 months just had overall color professionally done . I was never happy with the salon color, it was too dark didn’t look natural and very drying. This color left my hair in brownreally healthy condition and it looks so natural ( light brown 6a). Will definitely be using again. It covered the gray really well!! Left my hair very shiny and healthy looking.
    • I used Loreal, however I switched to Esalon. Pricy but loved the color. I looked at the Mefium Redish Brown from Loreal and thought I would switch back. So glad I did, much better than it use to be, and covered my stubborn gray root with even color through out. LOVE IT
    • 9-1/2A is my favorite shade, but it is not stocked in the stores, and now it’s also out online. Please keep this one in stock because the “N” types turn my hair too brassy because my hair already has a lot of warm tones in it.
    • I love love love this product i have used it for over ten years and its the only Hair color that covers all my Grey and White Hair and Last i can go two months if i wanted to without coloring and my hair is so soft and shineing i love it
    • I’ve been using this for three years and love it. No drips all over, color is true and it’s easy to apply and wash out. No residue left on the scalp either. I also love the new tube of protection for hair ends to keep them from becoming darker. This color looks darker on my hair than the box, so be sure and test strip. My hair is naturally dark brown at this point with about 50% white. It still covers evenly. Washing 2-3 times a week with L’Oreal product keeps the fade away. I color every 5-6 weeks, roots 20 min, all over 10. My white is stubborn. I’m 55 and my hair is fine and I am Northern European white. Hope this helps someone.
    • I bought this product for te first time and wanted to give it a try, I have dark brown hair and I wanted to lighten it, i bought the light golden brown, there was no change at all. The wait time is 30mins, after 30mins I washed a part to check but there was no changes, I waited for 10 more minutes and washed the hair completely I could not find any difference. Even after 40mins my hair color stayed the same. The instructions are confusing as well, the label on the bottles/ tubes have the 1,2,3 and on the instructions it’s something else. Waste of money and time
