Having adopted a 17 inch Asus Gaming Computer, it was virtually impossible to find an interior enclosure to fit the large laptop. After careful study, this model was shown to fit perfectly and is TSA compliant – that is, you can leave the laptop in the bag and unzip it to go through the scanner. I am completely happy with this purchase and my laptop and power brick fit wonderfully. It also holds folders, and every electronic device you can think of. It is a well made bag and I look forward to using it for many years to come.
Whenever I bought a backpack I always seem to have trouble when it comes to the way it is made because it always wears down and starts to tear. I have yet to have a problem with this Orion backpack. It is very well made and very tough. It also has a TON of room for more than just your laptop. It has its own sleeve inside the main pocket that also secures your laptop in with a sturdy elastic velcro band. There are a lot of pockets and sleeves for multiple items and it is also very comfortable. definitely recommend.
This bag was a birthday gift to my son and a replacement for another exact Alienware Onion Backpack that was damaged in a motor vehicle accident but which protected his computer completely! We were so impressed with that fact that my son wanted a replacement feeling confident of the bag’s durability. I only wish it were not so expensive. However, notwithstanding the cost it is definitely a good investment. Please note that the stats I’ve included with this review relate to my son as the sole user of the product and the timeframe relates to the original purchase as opposed to the replacement purchase.
