- I like the chairs alot. I was worried about the assembly of the chairs being that people complained about the screws not lining up with the holes….had the same issue at first but quickly learned you cannot have it tightly secured…rather loose to get it to line up. No smell as another person commented on in a previous post. I will say the wood is a bit rough so I may use a polyurethane on it. Sturdy overall! btw I am super picky and read reviews so I figure i should write one myself!
- After looking at numerous sites at similar chairs for twice as much, I decided to give these a try. They came already assembled and carefully hand-packed with plenty of protective padding to ensure a safe delivery. The chairs are sturdy and were the perfect brown color I was after. I like the padded seat, which makes it more comfortable than just a wood seat. The caning is a little scratchy on the backs of my legs on a couple of the chairs, but I expect the pokey pieces will get softer as we sit in them more. You can’t go wrong with these chairs!
- My two chairs arrived early and are adorable, wonderful finish, sturdy and great price. A little shy in ordering furniture sight unseen but not disappointed at all. Walmart price best on line. Spoke with Modway “Could there be a difference because of price?” the answer is that there is no difference. Go for it. Won’t be disappointed
- Love them! They came fully essembelled and we’re the exact color they appeared to be online. I’m very happy!
- This chair was a better match than I expected. Only problem is the smell of the wicker seat. Maybe after being out of the box several weeks it will be okay.
- I liked the look of the chairs but the smell was overwhelming and the seat was not smooth, it felt like a broken tree branch. My cousin has the Safavieh ones and they do not have the chemical smell and the weaved seat is a lot more comfortable so I decide to shop on Overstock and bought the black ones there. Waiting to see how they are as I paid $130.00 more. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
