- I’m 78 years old and have been using Hydro Boost Water Gel for Extra Dry Skin for about one year. It is just the very best!!! I do not use any other makeup but would just love to have a formula that contains sunscreen. Any chance?
- I have the most oily skin. I’ve tried several moisturizers, primers, makeups, setting powders, you name it, everything from high dollar to drug store products. Nothing worked. I could put on a face of makeup, go out shopping, and one hour later it’d be a complete oily mess, of course with a few dry patches too. But this stuff has changed my life. I can go all day and only have to blot once, if that. It absorbs almost instantly and feels like nothing’s there, and yet somehow manages to keep my face moisturized all day.
- I’ve tried a few moisturizing products, but all leave my skin feeling heavy, clogged, and oily. Neutrogena Gel face moisturizer is the only product that I can use, and my skin feels great! I can even wear my liquid or powder foundation too, and my face can breath!
- For many years I always hated using moisturizer for the moisturizers always sat too heavily on my face while making me break out and making my face too oily. Until I discovered this moisturizer. Not only does it not make my face oily or break out, it absorbs almost instantaneously. The moisturizer feels light on the skin allowing the skin to breath normally. The fragrance is basic, so as being a guy, makes it a moisturizer for everybody every-which-way. I did notice it to cause a slight burning sensation around the sensitive parts of my face, but that went away the more I used it. It only burns under the eyes now, and only for a few seconds. Pros: Light-breathing moisturizer Smell is non-gender specific Absorbs Instantly Price is not back breaking Cons: Slight temporary burning sensation Overall: Buy this product (PS: It’s very watery, so don’t drop it because it explodes everywhere XP)
- I absolutely love everything about this product aside from the smell and the strange blue dye. This product does everything it says and more, doesn’t cause break outs, lasts a long time, but has the worst fragrance added to it. I’m normally not very sensitive to scents but this product smells like a cheap air freshener to the extent that it makes me cough when it’s on my face. I’m going to switch to the cream-gel simply because it is fragrance and dye free, hopefully it won’t be too hydrating for my oily skin.
- I recently started using the Hydro Boost Water Gel and I love it! It has completely eliminated the flaking and itching caused by the cold, winter weather. But what I love most is how quickly it absorbs into the skin and how silky it makes my skin feel. Also love the fresh scent. At night, I also use the Hydro Boost Serum underneath this gel cream. Love that as well. I tend to stay away from drugstore skincare in favor of the french skincare brands like Caudalie, LaRoche- Posay, Avene and Vichy but this Hydro Boost line from Neutrogena is as good as anything I’ve used. BTW, the eye gel cream is also excellent. Doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. All in all, a very excellent group of products..
- I’ve been using it at least once a day, if not two times a day, depending on how often I wash my face- it’s so refreshing and light on my skin, I’ve only been using it for a week and I’ve noticed a huge difference already in my skin’s tones and textures. Totally in love with this stuff.
- Horrible product. Far from moisturizing, this gel actually made my skin much drier and felt horrible. It magnified the wrinkles making me look at least 15 years older. Returning this garbage first thing in the morning.
