• I am totally blown away with these headphones, sound quality, ease of Bluetooth pairing and price make this an exceptional value! I’ve been running with the plug in earbuds and they are terrible so I started researching Bluetooth headphones but didn’t want to invest $200 or more for an expensive set. When I found these for a fraction the others cost, I figured it was worth a shot…they exceed all expectations and I highly recommend these headphones.
• I’ve used this for several months now during my daily bus & train commute, to listen to podcasts and news from my cell phone. It was nice to finally cut the cord. I don’t notice any sound quality issues listening to talk, and listening to music sounds the same as my old corded headphones (http://www.walmart.com/ip/JVC-DJ-Style-Monitor-Headphones/16439886), but during silences you can hear a little bit of electronic noise that sounds like cross-talk. The cushions look pretty thin and firm, but they seal out outside noise pretty well and remain comfortable for all of my 90 minute commute. I can sit in the noisiest seat on the bus, right over the engine, and still hear my podcasts. The headphones paired easily with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4). The volume, fast-foward, rewind, and play-pause buttons all work with the phone’s player. It can also be used as a bluetooth headset to take phone call – there is a hidden microphone, and the play-pause button doubles as an answer-hangup button when the phone rings. I’ve only used it for phone calls twice, with no issues. The connection between the headphones and my phone occasionally drops in crowded areas with lots of radio interference. There’s one particular busy streetcorner I walk past on my commute where it tends to happen. Carrying the phone in a pocket on the right side of my body (the same side as the headphone’s radio receiver) seems to minimize this. If this happens, the headphones make a particular double-beep, and will reconnect on their own after 5 or 10 seconds. The audio pauses itself if the signal’s interrupted, and you can hit the play-pause button on the headphones to resume once they’ve made the happy “reconnected” chirp. Battery life is excellent. I can get about 13 hours of continuous use out of them. With my 90 minute commutes each way, this means that if I start the week with it fully charged and never plug it in, I’ll start getting the low-battery warning at the tail end of my Friday morning commute. It charges off of the same charger I use for my cell phone, and takes less than an hour.
• Bought these for myself and never have used bluetooth headphones before, but these are quite user friendly. The charger port is a common android phone charger size so that’s convenient. the sound is a pretty well rounded bass and treble. because it’s over the ears it’s fairly noise cancelling but not 100% which is fine by me. Out of the box it only took maybe 20 minutes for a full charge when it recommends 4 hours.. and I’ve only charged it once, been using it for about a week straight! Very happy customer. I’ve taken them everywhere around my neck and no stupid cords to get caught on anything. If I could say any cons to this product, the plastic its made of would not withstand heavy use so I wouldn’t recommend to careless users who break things easily. Also, the buttons on the side are smooth, it would have been a better design if the wearer could feel the difference in the buttons with your fingertip without having to take them off and check which one you’re pressing.
• The phones cut off every 15-30 minutes and have to be restarted. Sometime they cut off between scenes or channel changes–but it is a real pain in the butt. Then the button that one does this with dislodges inside the phone and can’t be recovered. Would not recommend these to anyone. Real tech junk. Makes one wonder if the makers ever test this stuff before shoving it off on buyers.
