my dog is very particular about his food & snacks, we needed to get some wet food into his diet but he wouldn’t eat even the fancy more expensive food but he absolutely loves the Pedigree ground dinner. Shopping on line at Walmart has been the easiest way to always have his food available.
Since I discovered how easy it is to order this item on line, I love it. I get this food to feed my dog in the morning. Being able to order it and having it delivered helps me tremendously. I have health issues, so lifting and carrying can be stressful for me. Being able to have it delivered to my door means only picking it up once to take it in the house.

I dreaded buying canned dog food at a market. I hated lugging the cans into the house from the car. My local Walmart is rarely fully stocked on dog food. I was tired of the battle. Finally I decided to check out Walmart.com. It’s essentially the same price to have it shipped as it is to buy it at the local Wally world, but now I don’t have to fight the lines at the checkout or fight the lack of stock. I used ship to home on my dog food now. Don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. I just have to make sure I have enough left so I don’t run out before it gets here.
Our 40 pound dog has eaten Pedrigree for her entire life. Sadie will be 15 years old in February. 2 cans per day keeps her happy!
I use this as a base to which I add dry food, 1 Tbsp of veg or olive oil, a cup or so of broth, an egg, and chunks of fresh veggies or fruit that my two dogs like, such as carrots, apples, and/or tomatoes. What I would like to see Walmart offer is a larger size, e.g., the 22oz cans. Costco offers the best combination/selection: 2 x 12x22oz cans of two varieties, e.g., 12 beef and 12 chicken. For anyone with a large dog(s), larger cans are the better option, also environmentally responsible and economically viable.
My dogs will not eat Old Roy or any of the other cheaper brands! PEDIGREE I’d the cheapest brand they will eat!
My dogs like this canned food. Theses two varieties are the ones that they eat consistently. It’s convenient to buy this in the 12 count package so they always have the cans on hand. My only compliant is that some of the cans are always bent in the package from Walmart.
All of your canned and dry dog food has a form of chicken or turkey and my schnauzer is very allergic to poultry. Any chance of making a good wet dog food without chicken?
