- I’ve had this exact model for about 4 years. On a budget this thing is great. Someday I’ll upgrade but really no reason to right now. Cooks and cleans with ease.
- I have used this FryDaddy Elite 4-cup deep fryer several times with great results. Fried chicken, breaded zuchini, french fries, and onion rings all came out great. What I didn’t check before buying it was if it came with a fry-basket. It does not. It does come with a spatula that works fine. It also has no heat control setting but it does the job for 1 or 2 people. If you are looking for something to use for a larger family, I would suggest a larger fryer, Overall it works fine for me.
- I love this thing. Everything that I have made has turned out perfect. It’s so easy to use. The only bad thing is the cleanup but we use it all the time for fried chicken, fried shrimp, jalapeño poppers, French fries, onion rings.

- I chose this as a $20 and under gift for a Yankee Swap. I didn’t get the chance to personally use it, though bought it with the intention that if no one else chose it, I wanted it for myself. …Needless to say, it was one of the more popular gifts of the evening. Regardless of the actual product, the customer service was great – quick, polite, accommodating, efficient. And, I was able to order on 12/23 and have it ready for pick up 12/24; which although I wish your store was closed for your employees sakes on Christmas Eve, it was convenient for your customers. Going forward, I would suggest having the store continue to be open on Christmas Eve, though no later than 4 or 5pm.

- I used it for the first time, and LOVED it! But noticed the coating chipped on the inside of the fryer. Wasn’t sure how that happened, as I used the enclosed plastic scoop. Used it a second time, LOVED it! But this time, noticed even more chips off the coating on the inside and some were way bigger than a chip, more like a dime size. I still am unsure how those chips happened, but it was enough that I took it back. As I’m sure with each use, more chips of the coating were going to come off and on my food. I’m wondering if I got a lemon. But I don’t want to chance it buying it again. Its a shame too.. Because besides the chipping off the coating, I really liked how it worked. I fried some chicken and it was off the charts! But I can’t have coating chips on my food. So I will look for another brand to buy. But gotta love Walmart! Was able to box it back up, with receipt, and got my money back, no questions asked.
