- The price dropped on this wagon and we are so happy with it. It is “the Cadillac” of radio flyer with the seats with seat belts, all terrain tires and hood cover. We are happy to use this for the soccer field, parks and other trips for our toddler and preschooler who are getting big for strollers.
- I use this wagon to pull and push (pushing is easier on my back) my almost two-year-old son. I already owned the Step2 All Around Wagon, but because it has “all-terrain” plastic wheels and wasn’t as easy to pull/push on gravel roads as I’d hoped I started shopping for a wagon with AIR in its tires. That led me to this Radio Flyer All-Terrain Pathfinder Wagon with Canopy! Pushes and pulls easier than any other wagon I’ve tried. It’s still hard on my back to pull my son, but due to the handle being higher and pneumatic wheels pushing is much better in this Radio Flyer than with the Step2 wagon. Assembly was easy. I had to get creative using a rubber-ended screwdriver as a prop to get the handle on. There should have been some tool included to use or maybe a different way to get it on. But you can improvise with a block of wood or something until you get it. It wouldn’t prevent me from buying or recommending this wagon. The canopy is well made and easy to take on and off. If it only with it came with a bag to tuck it away in, I’d be a lot happier! Shipping was fast, but packaging could be better since there was slight damage to one of the connection points for the canopy sticks. I was still able to get the stick down in the connection hole and it seems to hold fine, so I’m not worried with sending it back. Comparing this Radio Flyer wagon to the Step2 wagon I already own makes me wish the Radio Flyer had more built in compartments for adult drinks and a nicely tucked in drawer for gear. Nevertheless, I recommend the Radio Flyer over the Step2 due to the pneumatic tires which makes it actually usable for someone with a bad back.
- First, the wagon arrived very fast. My husband had it assembled in no time at all. We did have parts missing (the poles to hold the canopy up). I emailed Radio Flyer and made them aware of the parts that were missing. They responded immediately to my email and over-nighted the parts to me. I have to say, I was very impressed with their customer service. The wagon is very well built and sturdy. The wheels turn easily and it seems to handle any terrain without a problem. My almost one year old grandson loves it. It’s almost impossible to get him out of it. We did add a steering wheel with a horn, rear view mirrors and radio that I found for baby carriages (it has clamps that attach it, no holes needed) and now it’s perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
- We assembled it with young grandson. He was supervising the project. As it was easy to assemble only tool needed is a hammer. Great hit with grandson and his parents! Looking forward to see how it works in the sand.
- Wanted this for the all terrain tires. They work so well on all surfaces. Granddaughter absolutely loves this wagon. Canopy is good for extra sunny days. It does, obviously, block your view of the child(ren) riding in the wagon. It is very easy to put on and take off. There was a problem with the body(base) not having holes drilled for front axle and handle. Contacted Radio Flyer and they sent entire new base with pre-drilled holes. Arrived quickly. Customer service was very friendly. If this wagon had come complete and without problems, it would definitely have received 5 stars.
- Great to go almost anywhere and bring along a friend or sibling and any items needed for the trip.
- One piece of plastic broke off when I took it out of the box. Canopy does not lie down flat. Wagon material does not seem sturdy. Easy to assemble.
