- PROS–Arrived quickly. The box is long so you might need assistance to move it but good that only some assembly was required. Took me around 45 minutes. My wife is small and now leaves her car in the garage and rides it to her Zumba class three blocks away with a smile. The real tires make it much more agile and balanced. It is fast especially on flats and downhill. CONS–Says Phillips screwdriver included but was not. The Walmart check out page online suggested I buy a basket but, it was not made to fit and besides, it comes with it’s own basket so no need select that item. Once the basket is installed behind the seat, your tail light is not visible so look for one with a modified mount or apply reflectors to your basket at least.
- HERE GOES… My son has bought 3 of the smaller one that looks like a little VESPA Scooter just for the PARTS. He has designed and made his own electric bike. He uses it to and from work and WALMART, etc. This NEWER – BIGGER ONE – has a slightly more powerful electric motor and THREE larger Batteries – plus the Scooter as it is holds up to 225 lbs??? Maybe it is 250 lbs? Amy way – it arrived a week earlier than predicted… the box was in impeccable condition. All reviews I have read on amazon & here said theirs arrived with box torn open – parts missing… ours was like off the shelf. I am 70 yrs old and I am going to get myself one. I am no light- weight, so gonna get a SLIGHTLY LARGER / WIDER SEAT.Even if it even only goes 10 MPH (supposed to go 17 MPH) and it will get me to the corner store – I won’t have to renew my license, get a newer car, or mess with the insurance payments. There are no main streets or crossing in our little neighborhood and very few cars too. YEE HA! It is small enough to where it really can be used on a sidewalk . Just do not be a BULLY… it shouldn’t attract any cops attention. Check out the YOU TUBE VIDEOS on this Scooter – It is pretty ZIPPY with a light weight on it. I am going to glue all kinds of Rhinestones and Shinny Gold & Silver BLING all over it. I mean – common – I’m sure as it is a Short – Chubby Grandma riding one of these is bound to catch A FEW GLANCES. Might as well make it and “OMG MOMENT” they will never forget. ;>)
- Was easy to put together. I charged it for 24 hours as instructed, and off I went. The speed of the scooter is plenty fast to get around. Snow on the ground now so put in basement to protect battery from cold. So far I like it.
- Walmart was great! Razor, however, not so much. The scooter arrived in a timely manner. My son assembled the scooter as instructed by the manufacturer. However, there is a loud noise in the sealed engine housing and the battery does not hold a charge. Yes, he kept it plugged in for 24 hours prior to using the scooter. The engine made unusual noises right from the start. A self-contained, sealed system that runs on electricity should not make noise. At least not the rattling, cranking noise that this scooter made. While the Razor customer service person was attentive, she said there is nothing that can be done. The company has no provision for returns and the problems are not covered under their 90 day warranty. The local Razor dealer said “you get what you paid for. I have a $900 scooter that will run great for you”. I will be returning this scooter to Walmart today.
