• I got one of these a couple of years ago and used it almost constantly for 2 years. It’s small but powerful. I ran the fan in the summer, heat in the winter. It is so compact and effective. The fan stopped working recently. I’m sure it would have worked for much longer but I literally kept this thing running for 2 straight years. Now I am back to get another and SO happy they are still in stock! LOVE this little guy!
• I bought this for my son’s room and it really keeps it warm. It is a good price for the heater and does an excellent job of heating.
• Is there first time I buy this model and love it doesn’t spend to much energy but is so strong love it. The only little thing is the the arrow on the control bottom it should by another color. Just my own point of view.
• I ordered this for my office & love it. It’s great, & the perfect size. By the way, I was hoping the measurements listed online were wrong, & they are way off. I think they measured the box they shipped it in, instead of the heater.
• Bought this during Thanksgiving to prepare for the coming winter freeze. Works great. Knobs and casing are secured on. Not as hot as ceramic, but is just one level below. That may be due to how powerful the fan is, where as with a lower fan speed it may possibly have been hotter (this unit has only one fan speed for all heat selections). But the benefit of this unit over a ceramic heater is how quickly it can heat with its powerful metal blade fan. Do know that air flow is white noise that can drawn out low music or watching a movie. Not a problem in the bathroom. The grill is plastic. When I turn it on high and leave the bathroom door for 3 minutes, I come back to the bathroom with it noticeably warmer. Same with bedroom. Its heating level is still up there; On high and placed a foot away from the body will make you hot when its 30 degrees.
• It is great for a small (250 square ft) room. The fan has a setting for and works independently of the heater. The heater and fan shut off when desired temperature met based upon built in thermostat. The heater takes up very little room and is pleasantly retro in appearance. Well worth the price.
• I am disappointed in this Sunbeam Heat Fan-Forced Heater. I wanted a small heater to put in my bathroom to use while showering on chilly days or nights. The instructions say this item is not to be used in the bathroom due to moisture that could harm the internal mechanisms; as is the case with all such products I believe. All of the cautions of where it cannot be placed gave me very little choices. The retro look of the heat fan is cute, the color is nice too. I guess I did expect it to be as small as it is but I still expected more from it. I’ve had other similar heat fans that really warmed up the room it was in. This one I feel you have to be right in front of it to truly feel the warmth. The plastic casing seems of a lesser quality and makes me concerned to leave it for any amount of time because it does heat up. It worried me that the heat from the bottom of the heat fan may damage a counter-top or whatever I placed it on. I also had to keep a keen eye out for my curious cat. I thought about bringing it to work for under my desk but doubt it would make a difference. I would not suggest this heat fan. Look for something else.
