- I had purchased and returned a few coffee makers and then came across this one online and was happy there wasn’t a coffee pot. I have used this about a dozen times now and have no problems with it. It has a short cord and I have to pull the coffee maker out from under the cabinet to lift one of the two individual lids. I am going to put it on a cart for easier access. It only takes about two minutes or less to make the cup of coffee. I like the fact that you can use K-cups in either side or one side K-cup and one side coffee grounds. Or both sides coffee ground or both sides K-cup your choice. You also can use it for hot water only in your cup for soup in a cup, hot chocolate or instant coffee if your out of ground. You just can’t put powdered chocolate or instant coffee in the baskets only ground coffee or K-cups. You also can adjust the two separate shelves for a cup or a taller to go mug. The water amount is from 8,10,14 ounces of water and 3 tablespoon of coffee is the max line in which i use one and a half tablespoon for mine. It shuts off automatically when done brewing. Suits my needs and no pot to wash just empty the basket and rinse. No coffee sediments in my cup at all. You can make you a cup of coffee while making your kid a cup of hot chocolate or water for soup in a cup. Hope all these details help with your decision.
