The Hamilton Beach FreshChop Food Chopper is powerful enough to take on nuts, onions, carrots and other hard vegetables. The best part of the kitchen food chopper is the stainless steel blades which are easy to clean and wash. - Great for the price. The motor is probably not the strongest so it will be good for vegetables, etc., but probably not for mincing meat.
- I am having full upper denture made so no teeth to eat with for 8 weeks so this food grinder is a life saver. I can prep soup and add cooked veggies and grind all other soft foods like Mac n cheese and chili. It works great with 2 speeds and cleans up real easy. It is a little noisy but does not need to run long to do the job.
- This chopper replaces a 1.5 cup Black & Decker Chopper. My Hamilton Beach chops food in smaller, more uniform pieces without pulverizing it into a juicy mess.
- This is a little beauty!! Hate to dirty/clean my big food processor for small jobs — this is perfect for smaller jobs – I have lots of those! Holds 3 cups and seems to be a really good size! – I do a lot of seeds and nuts in mine, and it performs beautifully!! I’m sure it will do just fine with veggies as well. It has two buttons one for high, one for low speeds – all are pulsing buttons (no constant “on” feature/setting). With the pulsing, you could easily get the size of chopped food as small or large as desired! It’s seems very well made and sturdier than the little $10 ones I’d kept buying in the store! I highly recommend when using for smaller food/nut chopping jobs!

- This is a great product because it’s cheap, but tigers the job well done. The blades are pretty great too. Chops up anything.
- This chopper is great . Easy to use and easy to clean. Doesn’t take up a lot of room an the counter. Holds three cups of veggies but cut some vegetables in pieces before putting in chopper.
