    • I like to make my own mixes. I purchased the powdered eggs and this powdered butter to use in them. I now make my own pancake mix that is “add water only” and it is awesome. It is great to have on hand in emergencies, and also for everyday use.
    • This is a great product in all respects, including look, flavor, & aroma.
    • I only use real butter, we have for several years now. I wanted a dry product that was the “real thing”. Why use less than the best in using powered ingredients?
    • As it is stated “Emergency Food”. And this was my reason to buy these. Can looks good, no damage, with few years life on its belly(+10), which is good enough for me. The only way I could elaborate on the quality and taste would be to open it, which I have not done it yet. Perhaps on the time for rotation, then i can report back.
    • Use a very tiny bit of water and you have butter!
    • A can of Augason Farms Powdered Butter came damaged so I was dubious to save for long term. My dd had stopped by so we decided to open it and give it a whirl since neither of us had ever had these types of products before. We were both pleasantly surprised. Tasted quite nice, not hard to mix with some regular honey (warmed) I had in the cupboard + a teaspoon or so of water. Can’t wait to try it on some fresh baked muffins. My dd liked it well enough to take a pint of the powder home with her. We made a copy of the label so she’d know how to use it and to see what/how else she’d like to use it.
    • In my business, I purchased goods for a lot of people. Thank goodness I found this brand at Walmart ~ much lower price than ebay or amazon! When you are buying bulk products, Walmart is the only way to go! Checked at the Walmart store this weekend, and even though the butter powder isn’t available, they have almost everything else you could possibly need!
    • This is a staple in my home, not only for storage but to use often in everyday cooking. You get the rich taste of butter without all the oil. It’s great for replacing butter in baking recipes.
    • I have not tried the product as I am saving it for long term storage. I have not used it before but the instructions are straight forward. Can be reconstituted or used as a powder depending on your needs. I can say that the price was the best I have seen any where for this size can. Good value compared to other sites which can be nearly twice the price. Product arrived well packed.
    • I purchased this also hoping to save money on butter. $4 a pound is making it very prohibitive, but a powdered butter should at least work in recipes, popcorn, etc. Everything I have tried this product in has been “off” to the point of not getting eaten, rendering the point of buying it completely moot. Everything I’ve made, cakes, peanut butter bars, cookies, has a metallic, bitter taste. I am contacting the company to see if this is a fluke and the lot was off, or if this is just how awful the product is. Until then, I cannot recommend it.
