- I love the weather grey wood look…and was stoked to find this shelf for under $40! It holds 300 records and my record player and looks so good while doing so! The wood is better than I expected for particle board. It’s thicker and sturdier than other build your own furniture bits I have owned. I love it so much and will definitely purchase more of the same/similar items when I need them.
- For “cheap furniture” this is well made and sturdy. It looks good and it was less expensive to buy at Walmart instead of Amazon which is where I originally saw this piece online. I was able to easily assemble it myself. I added baskets from Lowe’s and casters from Home Depot.
- I bought this cube organizer for my closet. I live in Florida so I have a lot of flip flops. These cloth cubes are perfect for standing my shoes upright and having them hidden from view. So I was a little nervous about buying this unit because the box was quite heavy and I could only slide it from a lower shelf into the bottom of my cart and then I had to get someone to lift it into the back of my SUV. I was afraid it would be difficult to be put together. I was wrong. It had good directions and all the pieces were there and the directions made sense and it took me about 20 minutes from box to finished product (and I am a 61 year old female) It looks really nice for the price. It’s some kind of fiber particle board with a laminate finish but sturdy and once it’s all assembled, looks good.
- This white BH&G cube organizer was purchased in local superstore. It was nice to discover that these were easily assembled (30 min max) and really look great. Everything necessary for assembly was included. It was an especially good find after recent experiences with other brands (Closet Maid, Mainstays) which had to be returned. They were definitely not as quality as BH&G and had received some damage in shipping.
- I purchased this to use in my guest room as an night stand. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was definitely pleased with the results. It was very easy to assemble and fits perfectly. Now I want one for my bedroom.
- I bought this after seeing it in the store.. I LOVE it!!! It’s so much nicer then the picture shows!! Easy to put together looks very very nice!! I’m telling you the picture does NOT do it justice!! Even the picture I took of it doesn’t..
- This is my 6th BH&G Cube unit. I put them all together myself, and after building three big 8-cube units and two smaller 3-cube units, I figured this basic square setup would be a cakewalk. WRONG! Like I noticed with my other gloss black units, the glossy finish on this one has some blemishes as well, but I could’ve lived with that. The two shelves that go on the side of the longer board (that form the “”cross” or “T”) inside were too short. Once assembled, there’s small a gap on either side of both boards. The screws in this unit didn’t want to cooperate either. 2 of them started to strip so I can’t insert the black finishing caps. I’ll have to paint or “Sharpie” the SILVER screw heads (my 3 other black units had black screws, which would’ve been a lifesaver here). The nail in the coffin was that one of my screws stripped so bad, I can’t make it go flush to the unit, and it’s one that won’t hold a black cap… So there’s a bright sliver screw head jutting out. To make matters worse, the unit is excessively wobbly. And, no. It’s not from that 1 screw. The screw is tight enough to hold, it’s just not flush. I’m hoping the unit serves its purpose and doesn’t cause an injury or damage in my household. I am very disappointed with this purchase and will be checking into the policy of returning garbage once it’s been assembled. If Walmart allowed profanity on their site, this review would read a lot different because I am that mad! DON’T BUY IT! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
