- Love this item…this is my 3rd one. Works great for epilating, just doesn’t last long. Hard to clean, clogs up, wears out. Glad the price has come down.
- You do have to go over your hair a couple of times and sometimes you just can’t get all your hair but its definitely a faster method compared to waxing. It’s effective, if not, even more than waxing. I just used it on my face this morning. My face got red but I think it’s part of the treatment. It’s getting better though 🙂 I have used this device on my legs, arms, pits, belly, neck. Very effective.
- This epilator does its job of removing hair, however the process hurt so much I had to stop and return it. An epilator would be good for someone with thin, fine hair. Because my hair is so thick and coarse, it took several times going over one area for most of the hair to be removed. A few days after I used the epilator I noticed quite a few ingrown hairs trying to form!
- this is easy to use, but takes a very long time, i don’t have much hair on arms and legs, if i waxed (except for the mess), it would take me 10 minutes, but the epilator took about 25 minutes, because had to run over and over again. but works. Hair did not grow back for about 3 to 4 weeks. Also, tried on facial hair, it is really works well on the face. Underarms was a little painful, but again 3 to 4 weeks with no growth. I would have given this a 5, had i not have to run over and over again the same area.
- This was the least priced Braun depilator. I used a different brand before and I found this one to be more pain free and effective. The light on the button definitely helps, as in, if you were in a dimly lit room it’s a plus point to have that illumination.
- Was worried it wouldn’t work because of the low price. I was quite surprised at how good it works. I mainly use for the hair on my chin as I have gotten older. Now it is gone and it works great on my legs too. Wish I had bought it sooner.
- Years ago I had the Epilady Coil Epilator and loved it, but not the price. So this time around I bought the Braun Silk Epilator and am very pleased with the results. I do have to go over an area a few times more to get every hair, but it does it’s job.
- I’ve been using Braun for 10 years now, recently my old epilator motor died and that’s why I got a new one. I would recommend it.
- I purchased this product trusting in the reviews. Don’t waste your money or time! If one does purchase the epilator hope you have time. Not sure why some of these other reviews proclaim after a couple of uses this isn’t painful. If one has the money use it to invest into laser hair removal treatments. I would rather shave with razors than use this torture device.
