• I am very happy with how sturdy and durable this desk is. It’s a decent desk for the price and I’m honestly surprised that it’s not flimsy.
• I recently got rid of my huge executive desk and soon realized I made a mistake so I started looking for a replacement. I’ve been looking everywhere and finally came across this one. It is the perfect size for me and I love the open shelves instead of the heavy drawers my old one had. I have my fax machine on one shelf and my printer on the other one. I like the shiny black finish (rather than the gray/black fake looking black I see sometimes). My only complaints were that it was a little hard to follow the directions and needed 2 people to put it together and that one part had a crack in it but I was able to stregthen it with black electrical tape wrapped around it and it is hidden in the back underneath so no one will every see it. I think it was a great purchase and the price was good too.
• One of my pieces was broken, but I duck taped it together and used it anyway. Holding steady.
• This desk is really pretty, seems to be high quality and is exactly what I was looking for. However, it came with no instructions in the box and it took 4 emails to the company to get them–but I did! 🙂 After receiving the instructions, it was clear that one piece,the long piece at the back of the desk that keeps all of the legs steady was not in the box either. 🙁 I’m pretty disappointed b/c when I contacted Costway, customer support was from China and it was something of an ordeal to get instructions so I don’t hold out any hope of getting the missing piece. Overall, I’d recommend it to a friend in hopes that this was a fluke. Walmart, if you can help me resolve this, I’d be thrilled. If I could get that piece, I would upgrade my rating to a 5.
• When the box came I opened it and took all the pieces out. The 3 main pieces that holds the table up were severely cracked where the screws were to be placed. I had an Walmart unprofessional customer’s service rep who was not helpful and hung up on me. The second rep was helpful and patient she got me the information I needed. The 3rd party that shipped the product refunded the money when I told them I was not satisfied with the product and wanted my money back.
