I bought this yesterday and used it to make dinner. Great value for the money.
7 quarts is a lot, I’m not sure about the wattage usage of this unit, in high probably around 1000 watts, just a guess. Now days they have units that can do slow cooking and rice simultaneously . I could have bought one of those at Costco for 25 dollars on sale last month, big mistake missing the sale if you ask me. Look for Aroma brand. Crock-Pot is a thing of the past.
Well, the only thing I’ll be cooking in this crock pot is soap. I’m starting a new hobby of soap making taking my lessons from a wonderful person and she is teaching me how it’s done. One of the things I needed was a crock pot and this one was something she suggested. She said this is a great crockpot I believe her. I’ve used them before but not for making soap so I can’t tell you anything more than that.
This is a good crockpot for a family of 4, yes the pot gets hot but so did my other one I had it for 5 yrs,this one is easy to clean and use, nothing stuck nor did anything burn in it,we love it.
I had to return and get a new one, since I received a dented one, but the second was fine and I made chili the other night, was great! Good price and hold a lot, for 5 to 7 people meal.
I have the Crock Pot SCV700-B and I bought the New version SCV700-BC and they changed many things on it which makes it worse. 3 legs instead of 4. (TIPS) Taller and not as wide which makes it harder to stir and cooks slower because the base is smaller. Glass top is very loose fitting. Cord is shorter. Really short! BAD ALL AROUND!!
