I can tell a huge difference with this dehumidifier in my basement. I purchased a hose for continuous draining so no need to dump accumulated water.
I research a lot of dehumidifiers for about 2 weeks. I kept coming back to this one as the best for my needs plus the reviews are great. I live in a very humid climate and I was not about to go through another summer without a dehumidifier. I have only had it about a month now and it certainly does the job I need it to do. Very happy I chose this one and I will be buying another for my daughter.
Since I bought this and put it in the half basement of our house, it ran for 3 days straight and now it just comes on goes off whenever and has made huge change in the humidty level!
I purchased this dehumidifier 6 months ago, it has worked well except for only one problem: the holding tray handle to pull the compartment out to empty had come apart and I had to repair it. Also when the compartment is full of water it clearly cannot be carried by the handle provided without stressing the joints and feels as if it would break if you didn’t also hold it from the bottom
It was easy right out of the box. Began working immediately. I did set up constant drain, which was also simple and works great. I would recommend this unit to everyone.
Worked at first removing a good amount of moisture. Quiet and easy to operate. After about two weeks the light indicating an error started blinking and the unit would shut off. Instructions said to unplug the unit and restart. This would work but every day after the unit would be in error mode. Instructions say to contact service center. I did not do this as I did not want the hassle. Just took it back. Purchased a different model.
