- I needed an additional dehumidifier and bought this one. I have been using an identical unit in another location. It has worked well. I chose to buy the same model again because of the good experience I’ve had with the one I already owned.

- After 1 day it removed all the moisture and standing water in my old basement. I used a short piece of garden hose and have it emptying directly into a floor drain. It is very quiet and build good. This dehumidifier was thumbs up with my local HVAC contractor.

- This unit does everything a dehumidifier is supposed to do. I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in my basement. The electronic controls and display are easy to read and use. What I like most about this unit is the design of the hose attachment which bypasses the bucket. The hose attachment design on the unit I replaced was prone to failure and leaks. I am very pleased with this purchase and its performance.
- Third one I have owned, and never a problem. Fairly quiet and does the job very well. Excellent product and decent price as well.
- This product needs a total redesign. As internet chatter evidences since 2012 there is a problem with the self draining feature. There is a “retrofit” kit but they don’t send it automatically, nor do their tech support people suggest it. I found it through buyer comments on the Internet and requested one. The fix kit also had a design flaw that is documented on the Internet Why doesn’t Frigedaire just do it right the first time.
