- After 10 years of nightmares because of an aggressive seborrheic dermatitis, I used this shampoo and my seborrheic dermatitis is gone! My hair regrow and it has more volume, no more itching, no more hair loss! I’ve tried different treatments 10 years but in my opinion head & shoulder shampoo clinical strength is the best treatment for seborrheic dermatitis.

- Coal tar dries out your scalp and makes my scalp itch hours later. This formula doesn’t and also waht great is that you can use it everyday without worrying about dry out your hair or scalp.
- This is the only shampoo I use. Works for me. Has to be in dark blue bottle. Regular dandruff shampoo does not do the job.
- Clinical Strength Head and Shoulders has improved my scalp. Even with careful maintenance of my hair, I would still get flakes in certain areas. After regular use of Clinical Strength, I saw an improvement in my scalp and less flakes.
- You do have to let it sit on your scalp for a little while in the shower before rinsing to get the most benefit. It did help with flakes and itching ok but nothing spectacular. The initial scent is not too bad(almost like a medicated dog shampoo), but after a few minutes UGH terrible. Also after rinsing very well I can still smell this on my body and hair and the smell keeps building and getting stronger and stronger. It smells horrendous! It just keeps getting worse as the day goes on. I cannot stand it. I will not be repurchasing this for that reason. It literally makes me gag throughout the day. Update: Dog peed on her toy and it dried the horrendous musky urine scent reminded me very much of this shampoo once it has dried as well. Yuck
