I have 7 year old twins and its perfect for them. They can’t swim but are learning quickly. They usually have 2 friends over and the 4 of them play all day. I use it to float in too. We have had one leak. A pin drop size in the side. The patches they included work fine. Dry it – best as you can and stick it on! its very easy to put together. I had some trouble getting the little pins into the legs but other than that I put together by myself in an hour and a half. Took two days to fill. This pool is a GODSEND in the hot Texas heat. I sort of wish I had gotten a bigger one with a better filter but we are really enjoying this. AT $100, its cheaper than paying to go to a pool and more convenient. You’ll need step stool to get in if you have little ones. I didn’t bother with the ladder. You’ll also need chlorine tabs, a floating thing that disperses the chlorine and skimmer. I got the solar cover too which helps a lot. A pool vacuum would be extremely helpful as well.
We’ve had it set up for 3 days and our 4 kids 4-14 love it! it’s the perfect depth for our 4.5 year old which is why we chose this size. I wish there were a safety cover available for this. The debris cover doesn’t give me much peace of mind but I guess it’s better than nothing (purchased separately).
Great size for what I wanted. Just a watering hole to play in on hot summer days. Super easy to set up and fill. The pump is ok. Not fantastic but if you change it as recommended (every 2 weeks) it does the job I suppose.
This pool is the perfect size for my 3 year old. He can touch the bottom and feels so comfortable and confident in himself that he is learning to swim very quickly. I didn’t fill it all the way to the recommended depth so that I knew he would be ok. The filter seems to be working pretty good. This is the very first pool my husband or myself has ever had to care for and it is a bit of a challenge. Do lots of research and you can do it yourself. Be aware that the pool chemicals are another expense to add to your budget. I vacuum the bottom twice a week, skim the top everyday and take out filter and spray it out every other day. We have had it set up for 2 weeks and it is still not balanced properly. We are getting there though. Purchase the water test that uses the drops not the strips. My strips are not accurate and I confirmed it while testing them at the pool store while they tested the same sample. I set the pool up by myself and that is not what I would recommend as it would have gone much quicker with help. Great way to way to help beat the heat and get my son tired out every day. Great exercise for me too!!
We actually bought this pool last year. It is easy to set up and use. I highly recommend making sure the ground is level. We bought a tarp to place under the pool as well. We have not had any issues with the pump so far. My daughter who is 5 loves this pool and it is perfect for her and her little friends. The neighbor kids are always here in the pool with her. The pool is small I am 5’8” and it comes to my mid thigh when standing in the pool. I can easily sit or be on my knees to play with my child in the pool. The pool is easy to care for. We bought a chlorine floater and tablets, we just put a new tablet in when the previous one had dissolved. I highly recommend getting the solar cover. We also bought the heavy duty cover. They help keep debris out of the pool. I bought a skimmer and I clean the pool out with that every few days. I have not found that I need to vacuum the pool. My only complaint about this pool is the plastic things that hold the frame break when taking it down for the winter. It was a nightmare to find replacements. The only other issue is the seals that go around the intake and output on the pump dry rotted over the winter in storage, which I guess is expected. So I will also need to replace those this year, I am sure I can find them at the local hardware store.
bought this pool a month ago and I love it. Great for the grand kids but the pump is not strong enough to VACUUM the bottom adequately and I have had to change the water already. I don’t care what the government standards say, this pump is not adequate for this pool!!!!!
I purchased this pool for myself and grandkids to cool of in this past summer. We set the pool up, filled it with water, next day…..no water in the pool…. The liner had tore overnight and all the water had made the year even bigger… So we never got to use it…. Tried to find out if I could just get a replacement liner, got cut off never heard back from company….. I guess it could have been a great pool for us if the liner hadn’t tore… Oh well ….that was money wasted for sure….
