- It did what it’s suppose to do. we did a 3 1/2 lb flat cut corned beef plus 4 lbs of potatoes and three heads of cabbage together. Turned out very good.
- I needed something for the holidays to cook turkey while the oven cooked the casseroles, pies and such. I learned it bakes two 9 in. round cake pans at the same time! I use it to save on energy bill. It claims to use 30 percent less energy and can cook a 15 pound FROZEN turkey within two hours. Well, from frozen rock hard until 2:45 hours later, it fully cooked a frozen turkey! The meat wasn’t browning like I wanted so I put in conventional oven for an hour to brown golden brown. The meat was very juicy, tender and yummy. It cut 3.5 hours off cooking time, which saved on electric Bill. Yes, the roaster could hold a 24 lb. turkey, and I roasted a 15 lb one But the size makes it more versatile to bake other things. I baked a pan of bisquits in it and they were fluffy, soft on the inside and nice golden color on outside. I baked a two layer chocolate cake, very yummy results
- The oven roaster cooked my turkey fast & even. (2 1/2 hours) It is very easy to clean. I wish I had known about it years ago.
- I needed this as we moved into a home with a tiny little built-in oven. It is great because we can place it anywhere, in the sunporch, garage or kitchen to cook something. I only used it for my Thanksgiving turkey so far, it turned out good and so did the gravy. I just need to adjust to using it!
