    • Have used the tent twice now, once in a downpour. Worked excellent. No water in tent at all.
    • I’m not tent savy, but It was very easy to set up. The first night I used it, it stood up to a big rain storm and didn’t leak at all. All the other tents in our group did leak, or flood! I’m impressed with this little tent. My only complaint is that it says it’s a 6 man tent, but only three fit comfortably. Four if you don’t have anything extra at all in it.
    • In the last 18 months I’ve bought and shopped for tents in this time period I’ve purchased 7/8 tents which I used all of them in very rough conditions and real life situations we went through while living in them. This by far is the best Ozark Trail tent that I’ve ever owned or lived in period! The ease of putting this tent up is true to its advertising and design. I put this tent together in the pitch dark at 2 o’clock in the morning. I also did this by myself so I’m not over selling this featured advantage by the manufacturer its was so easy I couldn’t believe that it went up like within 90 seconds. Inside the tent was even more impressive roomy, big windows for ventilation and no problems standing or moving around with ease. The construction of the tent is well done for the climate in San Diego but if your going to cold climates you will need to wear appropriate clothing. I did buy a can of Scotch Guard just for peace of mind when it rained. No leaks or serious problems I prepared for this by having a tarp attachment on the top of the tent to block the sunlight and give extra protection from the rain showers. They have a pet door on the opposite end of the tents front entrance . If you don’t have a pet with you seal it shut with duct tape ants will come through that mesh in time. Overall If you want a easy set up and break down this is the tent to buy I don’t ever see myself buying any other type of tent in the future that’s how easy it was to handle.
    • Easy to set up and take down. Fits in easily in carrying case and light weight & portable. Bought for grandson & his parents first Scout camping trip.
    • I never put up a tent before and my friend has never gone camping before and we were able to set this up in under 5 minutes. Big and roomy on the inside, it was like a mansion between the two of us. There is a very small air vent in the back of the tent that you will need to put a pin down on or else rain can easily get through. We learned this the hard way. Moral of the story, read directions thoroughly! Description says that this is a 6 person tent but if you’re looking for comfort, I would say this tent could fit 4 people comfortably.
    • let me start by saying that I was really excited about this tent for it’s ease of set up. set it up in the grass in my backyard soon as I got it. it really does set up in about 30 seconds. as far as ease of set up goes, I would give it 5 stars. happiness quickly turned to disappointment when I noticed a hole in the middle of floor. I even contemplated patching the hole in my brand new $100 tent because I liked it so much. when I folded up the tent I saw what caused the hole and I realized it was just the beginning of what would be an ongoing problem. when you take the tent down, the circular hub in the middle that all the poles connect to is pushed down against the floor and then pulled very tightly around the sharp edges of this hub and it wears holes right through the floor. upon further inspection I found tent had 2 more wear spots about to pop a hole through. tent was even shipped with a piece of cardboard between hub and tent floor, but still arrived with hole. this leads me to believe they are already aware of the potential problem. floor seems rather thin to begin with and is not a bathtub style. seams lie right on the ground which makes me question how water proof it would turn out to be. I ended up returning tent. problem could probably be solved by making a thicker floor and putting a smooth coating around sharp edge of the hub. really liked the instant tent part of it, just not the holes in the floor. if OZARK TRAIL fixes this issue, I would definitely give this tent another try. I have been pleased with the value and quality of their other tents, but I can only give it one star because of the floor issue. hope your listening OZARK TRAIL! also, just so you know, that nifty little carry bag it came in…. it’s never fitting back in there again…lol.
