• So we bought this tent because when we go camping having small kids we have to take a lot of stuff with us. This tent has a lot of space for a family and our camping gear as well. The integrated light is a plus, especially when looking for a tent at night and there are 20 other tents at your camping location. It was easy to set up and tear down.
• Just bought this and set it up. Almost bought the 10 person in store, but saw this online and was only $40 more after pickup discount. Glad we got the larger size for a family of 5. Gives us 2 sleeping areas, plus another room for gear, bags etc… Set up was easy for the tent part. Then just have to put cover on and a few other things that take a few minutes more. LED lighting is great, need to buy 4 D batteries. 3 levels of brightness as well. 2 storage pouches built in, plus 2 tablet holders to hook on are great as well. Seems sturdy and well made. Carrying bag is nice and has roller wheels.
• Before going camping we practiced setting up the tent. Set up was a little difficult, it took more than 2 people. The ceiling part of the tent kept coming down. While camping set up wasn’t easier. Tent worked great for first few days. Liked the size of it, liked the LED lights, we had 6 people, 3 queen size air mattresses. Did NOT like the overhead awning and doorway. THE BAD PART was we came back to camp after being gone most of day, it had rained. The tent had fallen, our pillows were soaked with water, sleeping bags were wet, lots of water in tent. We were unable to put tent back up, everything so wet we had to leave at 9:30 PM, cut the vacation short, lost the money for the camp site ($100), we were 7 hours away from home, had to get a hotel ($100). When we got home, we tried to set tent up, one pole was bent, the top of the tent still didn’t want to stay up. Poles were very cheap and flimsy. Very disappointing. ALSO the tent was huge! It took up a ton of space in Van, luckily we could put a seat down on one side of van, other wise it wouldn’t of fit.
