• While it isn’t quite as stable as a wicker or stiffer plastic laundry basket, it does stand by itself and isn’t so flexible that it’s floppy. Where the flexibility really helps is when you’re carrying laundry (which is the purpose of a laundry basket) through doors . Instead of having to maneuver to keep from banging or scraping your knuckles, you just push in a little and go right through. It’s a real knuckle saver. It could be made better for heavier loads with more rounded handles. Only drawback I see. Since it’s Rubbermaid, I know it will last.
