- There’s already plenty pictures posted, plus it actually looks how they have it displayed. The legs are sturdy and thick. The top is solid, holds up to 400 lbs. It came timely perfect and undamaged. Not one scratch, it was well packaged. The colors are deep just like the photos. For a dinner table, I don’t see how it would be easy to scratch. And if you know your house cleaning, you know not to use harsh chemicals on any fine surface in a home. I’m really starting to trust Better Homes & Gardens as the buys I get from them tend to be legitimate, almost makes you feel like it’s not all about the money with them. Any, it’s definitely worth more than the price. Skip the yard sale & thrift.
- Solid wood construction, and very sturdy. Surprisingly nice table for the money.
- This set was so easy to put together, I did my self without help and it took about 2 hours…all in the process of making dinner, I love it.
- The table had a small scratch and some scuff marks on the top and on the bottom we noticed the wood had split when the screws were put in too far during assembly. Other than that, I love the table. It looks stylish, but the price was a bargain. Only gave it a 3 star because if I knew it wouldn’t have been a hassle, I would have returned it for a new table top that wasn’t damaged upon arrival.
- Read a couple of bad reviews but saw replies from manufacturer that they will rectify the problem so I bought one. After two months, noticed some discoloration of the stain and I so decided to call customer service. Very disappointed to hear that the table cannot be in contact with any liquid. The manufacturer suggested to put a glass top or plastic cover to protect the top. Why is this called a dining table if it is not made to withstand even a wet cloth (no solvent, just plain water) for cleaning after eating? At the end of the conversation, the manufacturer also suggested to just return the item to Walmart.
