• Great dining table for price. Chairs and table are coming partially assembled, only legs needs to be assembled. It takes average skill to put together but is not that hard. Over all great value! The only reason I did not give five points, shipping boxes came partially wet but furniture was not damaged.
• Table is sturdy as well as pretty. Fits perfectly in my kitchen and is exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was a breeze, just screw on the legs and that’s it!
• I am in love with this table! Great quality and great shipping. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the table was boxed up. (Saw some reviews where people received damaged tables from forklifts in the shipping process) The table actually had strong pieces of wood surrounding all the edges and sides of the table and the bench so there wouldn’t be a problem with damage. You can’t beat the price.

• The table not only looks nice, but it’s also sturdy and really easy to assemble. Just as easy as the bench. It literally took me 15 minutes to assemble by myself and with minimal use of the instructions.
• I was extremely excited about purchasing this table, it was the exact style I was looking for at a great price. When I opened the box, there was a quarter sized fracture on the top of the table, a few centimeters deep. I called Whalen’s customer service department and was told that a new table would be shipped to me in two weeks and it was my responsibility to dispose of the damaged table. I provided all of my shipping information and made arrangements to have the item delivered. I then received an email asking to provide pictures of the damage along with proof of purchase, which I happily sent over. I’m glad I hadn’t disposed of the damaged table because I was then told that upon reviewing the images, the damage did not hinder the “functionality or integrity” of the table and, therefore, a new table would not be sent to me, instead management would offer me a monetary discount to keep the table as is. After a lot of back and forth, spanning two weeks, I was notified that the compensation would be a mere 15%. Had the “functionality or integrity” policy been clear from the beginning, I may have had a different experience; however I was promised an undamaged product and spent the time to make shipping arrangements only to find out that they likely had no intentions of replacing the item to begin with. I will be returning the table to Walmart and will not be purchasing from Whalen again.
