• Love this coffee table and the whole collection. My kids have strung out art supplies and toys right before guests were coming over and I was able to quickly hide it all by putting them in the storage area. Holds a blanket nicely too.
• Not hard to put together, I only needed help with one step, but my son and grandson finished it for me. It looks nice. The lift top will be handy for quick dinners on the couch. Only a few tools needed, I would suggest not only to read the directions for each step completely but also pay close attention to the pictures, very helpful. I already had the entertainment center, next order will be the end tables.
• The handles on this piece really set it off. Be sure to pay attention when putting the piece with the handles on that it is the side furthest from the holes that hold the lift top on. Easy mistake to make. Very sturdy and has cool circular saw markings on it. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
• This table is an awesome piece of furniture. The way it springs in to a table is brilliant, very handy. Just wish the hardware that it’s put together with made it a little sturdier. Unfortunately, I moved it without furniture movers and split one of the legs,about cried. Clamps and glue fixed it. All in all,I love it. I am going to get the entertainment center TODAY!
• Gorgeous table. My boyfriend is pretty handy but this took him over 2 hours to assemble. It’s a little stiff to lift up. I deducted 1 star because once you left the table, you can’t access the storage from the side you sit on. You’d have to walk around to the outside so get into the storage part. That’s a little weird. Otherwise, it’s a nice, solid table and looks way more expensive than it is.
• We’ve had the table about a month now and it gets lots of compliments. It was fairly straightforward to put together, and I only needed my husband’s help to attach the lift-top (and honestly, I probably could have done it myself if I absolutely had to). Took a couple of hours. We need two hands to operate the lift top, but don’t have any of the issues that other reviewers have mentioned. It’s a smooth and slow motion for us. I tried putting a coat of polyurethane on it, but it beaded up and I wiped it right off. The finish that is already on it has made it so we haven’t even needed coasters. I would buy this coffee table again without hesitation, and already have a couple of family members who are considering purchasing it themselves.
