- The headboard looks exactly like the photo. It is good quality and neutral/wooden color which can easily go well with any bedframe. In addition, it can give a very cozy and modern feel to the room. The price is reasonable and it is affordable for most of the people. Also, I don’t think people are willing to spend too much money on the headboard, instead they would rather spend more on mattress. Overall I am satisfied with the look and the price. It should be one of the best sell if they can be sold through in the right channel (like Walmart). I am writing this review as part of a contest.
- My fiancee and I just moved to our new place. We searched high and low for a new headboard that both of us love. He is into industrial style home decor, while I am more into natural looking furniture that is warm and inviting. This headboard is a good mix of our totally different styles. The wooden board is comfortable to lean against, while the metal frame adds character and masculinity. The headboard also feels quite durable. I can see it last many years in our bedroom. And at this price, you really can’t go wrong with this one.
- I have been using a standard metal bed frame for a long time now, but recently decided to upgrade. Bedroom sets are very expensive, so I decided to settle in on a headboard – the perfect intersection of style and affordability. The Mercer Full/Queen headboard looks very good from afar, and doesn’t disappoint up close either. The wood panel and metal are flush up front, making for very clean lines. The construction is very sturdy – I shook and pulled on it and it wasn’t going anywhere. The headboard comes with hardware to attach to any standard metal bed frame with face plates (I’m in luck) and the installation seemed very easy. You can also decide to just lean it up against the wall and push your mattress/box spring up against it to hold it in place if you are feeling lazy. My only complaint is that one of the joints where two pieces come together wasn’t exactly flush and looked a bit sloppy. Again, the construction was solid so it wasn’t moving, but it is something to consider. The good news, however, is that this will likely never be seen since it occurs below where the mattress begins, and it could have just been the sample I saw as well. Conclusion: The construction is solid, the visible lines are clean, and the price point is very affordable. I’ve looked at many headboards and this one is definitely on the more affordable side. Furniture often comes down to personal preference and taste, so if you like the look of this headboard, it is definitely worth trying. Please note that I am writing this review as part of a contest.
- The deep brown color of the brown headboard matches my bed side table and drawers. I also like the strong and secure attachment of the headboard to the bed frame.
- Received my headboard but upon opening noticed that 75% of the screws holding the actual wood to the metal frame have been broken off. The actual headboard it’s self in general looks fantastic! Obviously I’m returning what I received, hope the next one is in one piece.
