- Please note as you read my review that I have a dog: This little vacuum has good suction, is much sturdier than similarly priced machines, the turbo-brush is awesome, and the extra perk of a scented filter is quite nice. I am very pleased. My only complaint is the “dial” you use to raise/lower the vacuum to better clean whatever level of flooring is a little flimsy. It almost appears to not work at first. It does work- when the vacuum is turned on. Makes sense when you think about it…
- Purchased this for occasional office use – good size, lightweight, does the job.
- I like the multi surface feature with many heights to accommodate bare floors as well as carpet. The cord is very long for good reach. it is light weight and easy to use. It has very good suction. This is my second purchase of this vacuum only because my husband abused the 1st one with construction projects in the house. He says it still works fine and I did not need a new one, but I wanted a clean one.
- The floor cleaner works well and is a convenient option for smaller machine. I am well pleased with how easy it is for me to change the height option for the carpet and how easy it is to vacuum. I have lung problems and cannot use a heavier vacuum cleaner. I do have a heavier one it also is a Bissell and it a very good one but I cannot use it any longer it is too difficult to push. The operation of this product is great and I love the way it empties, it is very easy and don’t have to get my hands dirty, It takes very little effort to wipe down compared to the larger model. I am totally satisfied with the 1009 model.
- Very good vacuum. Good suction, long cord, came with an extra fragrant filter, and a regular washable filter. Easy to empty from dust and dirt. I did not want to buy a vacuum that would cost me more money along the way to maintain it with filters, etc. This vacuum doesn’t require any add-on cost later on. I am very happy with it!
- Thought this would measure up to the excellent other vacuums from Bissell. Boy, was I wrong. In this case, not sure I got what I paid for. Bought it online, that was the first mistake. I’ll never buy without seeing an appliance so important to my home that is used daily!
